Julia Finke is a clown, comedian, and karaoke artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work centers mostly on “clown karaoke”: high energy karaoke performances that incorporate physical comedy, intense audience connection, and hyper emotionality. Her clown performances have been featured at Soho Playhouse, The Idiot’s Hour, Brooklyn Comedy Collective, and the PIT. She also created and hosts Clown Karaoke Night, a free clown workshop/karaoke night/open mic, to share the joy of clown karaoke with the whole world. Outside of clowning, she makes comedy videos on @juulsjunkjournal on Instagram and Tiktok that people seem to enjoy. i’m gonna go viral even if it kills me is her first full length solo show, and her DC performance debut.
